Canadian cowboy, author and sculptor. Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Moved to Alberta at age sixteen. Worked as a cowboy on various ranches and at Wainwright Buffalo Park and Elk Island Park. Short stories and articles published in periodicals and in collection Buffalo Bud : adventures of a cowboy.
File consists of manuscripts of three short stories titled The night rider's lament, Buffalo trails, and Sagebrush, buffalo and cow-wagons; and short story One Spot, the buffalo, photocopied from unidentified periodical. Items are revised drafts of short stories published in Buffalo Bud : adventures of a cowboy / by E. J. (Bud) Cotton with Ethel Mitchell. - Vancouver : Hancock House, 1981.
