Fonds consists of correspondence and contracts; notebooks; manuscript scores of vocal, choral, instrumental, chamber, orchestral and electronic works; manuscripts of articles and program notes; concert programs and promotional material; newsclippings of articles and reviews, as well as scrapbook, 1949-1961, tracing a. lanza's musical career; photographs; sound recordings, film and videocassette featuring performances of a. lanza's works; material relating to Electronic Music Studio, McGill University, and to teaching; sound recordings of others' music; recorded interviews with a. lanza and a. lanza interviewing others; and miscellaneous material. Also includes draft of Pamela Jones's biography of a. lanza.
